Pilates

Everything you need in one place

Here are the top three reasons to do Pilates.  Is Pilates right for you? If you already do Pilates, see if your favorite reason makes the list.

Pilates is Whole Body Fitness

Pilates workouts promote strength and balanced muscle development as well as flexibility and increased the range of motion for the joints.

Pilates Is Adaptable to Many Fitness Levels and Needs

Whether you are a senior just starting to exercise, an elite athlete, or somewhere in between, the foundations of the Pilates movement apply to you. Building from core strength, focusing on proper alignment, and a body/mind integrative approach make Pilates accessible to all.

Pilates Creates Strength Without Bulk

In Pilates, you are not looking to build muscles for show. You are building toned muscles that work perfectly within the context of your body as a whole, and your individual functional fitness needs as you move through life.

LEARN ABOUT VIRTUAL TRAIING

From the Comfort of Your Own Home

First, I want to wish you all well during this time. What a time it is! I hope you are all doing well. As well as you can be as all things are altered. I want to introduce you to live streaming sessions via the free app ZOOM which you can download on any smart device. I was struggling to figure out how to reach everyone as we are all shut in and all we know is shut down. I feel the same frustration and I wanted to set-up private sessions via our homes and get some movement and breathing work on your floor, bed, couch, chair or standing. This way you can continue your sessions. Now, it’s up to you to let me know when you’re ready to connect in the comfort of your home.

Balanced Body Movement Principles is the foundation of the Balanced Body Teacher Training Program and is the prerequisite for the Pilates Mat, Reformer, or Comprehensive program.

Anatomy in Three Dimensions is a unique exploration into the anatomy of the human body and is a required course for Reformer and Comprehensive certification.

Online Sessions Via Zoom

Virtual Pilates Private Sessions are done by video conferencing with the Zoom app. Once your session is scheduled, we will create a virtual meeting on Zoom and I will send you a link by email to join the meeting. We will be able to see each other, so that I can give you optimal cueing and instructions. This is also a great option for clients that wish to continue their Pilates sessions all year long!  We are all in this together ❤️.
